New Delhi. Amitabh Bachchan confirmed that he suffered a slight knee injury while filming the eighteenth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The incident occurred when he lost his footing during a routine take.
Modified Opening Routine
In the subsequent episode, the iconic host broke from his tradition of standing at the centre of the stage for the opening address. Instead, he took a seat and spoke to the audience from there, attributing the change to his recent injury.
Big B Calms the Studio
Pointing to his left knee, Bachchan reassured everyone that the issue was minor. He mentioned that while he would still stand to greet contestants, he preferred remaining seated for the introductory segment because standing caused discomfort. The audience responded with heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery.
KBC 18 Keeps Rolling
Despite the setback, the seasoned actor continued to fulfill his hosting responsibilities, interacting with participants and preserving the show's momentum. Viewers noted the rare deviation from his signature standing opening, a hallmark of the programme.
